Which Call of Duty League teams have betting sponsors? Only one deal is documented in the pages this desk read: in May 2021 UK-based betting company Midnite became the London Royal Ravens’ jersey sponsor, the first betting partner of a CDL franchise team. That team now plays as the Carolina Royal Ravens. Whether the deal still runs was not confirmed.

Where did the Royal Ravens go?
ReKTGlobal bought the London slot in 2019 and relocated the franchise to the Carolinas ahead of the 2024 season, per the Carolina Royal Ravens Wikipedia page. The 2021 coverage still ranking for this query names the London team, and the deal it describes dates to May 2021.

Does the Call of Duty League allow betting sponsors?
This desk read no Activision document that settles the current rule, so we will not say allowed or forbidden. In 2021 The Esports Observer reported that Activision loosened CDL and Overwatch League sponsor restrictions to allow betting and liquor brands, per Esports News UK. A search summary claiming Call of Duty now forbids them could not be traced to a page this desk could read.
Compare Riot, which publishes its rules (Riot’s betting sponsorship rules), and Valve’s jersey classes for Counter-Strike (CS2 teams’ betting sponsors). The Dota 2 teams record is the same shape as this one.
Can Call of Duty League teams have gambling sponsors?
A franchise team had one in 2021, after Activision reportedly loosened its rules. Community events are a separate matter: Activision Blizzard’s community tournament licence, as quoted in 2021, said competitions cannot be sponsored by companies associated with gambling. Esports News UK noted those requirements are separate from the league’s own. Neither Activision text was read directly this run.
What this desk read
On 23 September 2026 this desk read Wikipedia’s 2026 season page, the Royal Ravens’ Wikipedia page and the Esports News UK report. The CDL subdomains for the Ravens, OpTic, FaZe and Breach redirected to the league’s home page. Odds suppliers already price CoD markets (PandaScore’s kills prop); a sponsor logo is a separate question.
A betting logo on a jersey is a sponsorship invoice, not a tip. If you bet at all, use a book licensed where you live, 18+ only. Any team named here has a right of reply, and a partner page gets its row updated.
